Carmenero gets the vote here over Tender The Great and Dudley Docker. The selection ran well when fourth behind Hessian last time, and he had previously gone close behind Resplendant Nova over this course and distance. A reproduction of that effort would certainly make him competitive and he should go close. Tender The Great was a fair fourth behind Officer here last time and this filly is admirably consistent. She has the best of the draw and it will be a surprise if she is not able to finish in the places. Dudley Docker was a close third behind Jawaab in a driving finish at Haydock last time and he is clearly capable of getting competitive off his current mark. Towy Girl ran well last time and looks a good each-way bet, but Carmenero stands out for us and gets the pick.
