Verdict
Quite A Thing was expected to do better at Wolverhampton last time, but the 7f may have found her out and she's not easily overlooked back over today's trip with headgear applied for the first time. However, MEZZOTINT makes more appeal on his handicap debut. His maiden win at Wolverhampton looks decent form with third-placed Sky Crossing having since won and Marco Botti's colt gets the nod. Fortrose Academy and Taffe are other maiden winners to consider, as they're less exposed than the likes of recent 5f winner Gin Twist and Lingfield runner-up Dishy Guru.
