The Mongoose has been running well in plating races and is closely matched with Officer In Command and Spin Again on recent running at Lingfield. Prince Of Passion scored at Wolverhampton last month but has yet to win over further than 7f so BOWSTAR is preferred. The latter got her head in front over track and trip three weeks ago and a 2lb rise may not be enough to prevent a follow-up in this company. Warbond is usually in the mix without being good enough and it could be a similar story here.
