Verdict
Syrinx is the one to beat but she'll probably be short enough; Thief Of Time and Duke Of Normandy are two to consider but we'll suggest PATIENCE REWARDED. The three year old is making her belated debut at a time when her yard's horses are running well and she may be able to keep the trend going. Her dam was an eleven furlong winner in France but there's also a bit of speed in the pedigree and she may have the requisite pace to be competitive. Syrinx stepped up on her debut effort to finish third behind Ashram in a Newmarket maiden but she has since blotted her copybook with a tame effort at Lingfield. The booking of Catlin and Noseda's record are positives but she has to prove that her last run was no more than a blip. Mark Johnston's yard is firing on all cylinders which may enable Duke Of Normandy to leave the form of his first two outings behind whilst other interesting newcomers include Destinationunknown, Thief Of Time and Know By Now but Patience Rewarded is the pick.
