In depth

Verdict

There are a number of unknown quantities in this and it may be significant that Andrea Atzeni partners the Dark Angel newcomer Hooriya in preference to stablemates Di Matteo, who finished fourth on debut at Wolverhampton, and Lady Schannell. Whisper Aloud is a half-sister to useful all-weather performer Mr Scaramanga so is worth monitoring but VEGATINA (NAP) improved on her first start when running the well-regarded Yimkin to a length-and-a-quarter over a mile here last month and should have the pace to cope with the drop in trip. Canasta is a probable improver but Lethal Lover has already been beaten twice in a lower grade.
