Verdict

Intermix picked up a race in France at the end of last year. He scored on the all-weather at Deauville but the form is hard to assess and ERODIUM is preferred. The betting suggested the latter was expected to improve on last year's efforts on his comeback at Lingfield and he duly landed the odds in good style. Red To Amber should also go close having dead-heated for first at Kempton with Gabrial's Wawa - the latter having won again since. Magical Rose and Countryman are two of the less-exposed types worth noting on their return to action.
