      Verdict

      TOPCROFT finished a credible second at Southwell last time after nine months off the track. A C&D winner, Derek Shaw's charge looks up to winning this getting plenty of weight from his chief rivals. They include Marching Home, who had Hip Hip Hooray behind when runner-up to Gallantry here last month, and he's preferred to recent Wolverhampton winner April Fool. Fivefold's two wins have been over 7f and he seems best at that trip while Having A Ball faces a tough task at these weights.
