      Verdict

      Ziefhd was engaged to run here last night but has been below par of late anyway and Standing Strong hasn't raced since July. The Mongoose ran a shocker at Wolverhampton last time having scored at the same track before that and GOLDEN DESERT is preferred. He won over 7f at Lingfield in November and this looks less competitive than his recent third to Lowther over a longer trip. It could be his turn today with Homeward Strut and Zaheeb looking best of the rest on previous form.
