      WESTERN was only beaten a head over track and trip on his handicap debut with Kodiac Thriller and Honest Desire behind. Better is expected from the latter having returned a beaten favourite on that occasion but the form can be confirmed. Both Biographer and Free As A Bird make their handicap debuts and are preferred to the more exposed pair Balon D'or and I'm Spartacus.
