      Verdict

      An intriguing contest for a nice prize though none have any fancy entries as of yet. Unbeaten in France last year including a Listed race, Chares has changed hands and comes out best at the weights if running up to his provisional rating. He hasn’t raced since September and Berlin Tango was last seen in the same month finishing third in Listed company at Doncaster. NEW WORLD TAPESTRY has a bit to find on these terms but was thought good enough to take part in the rescheduled Group 1 Futurity at Newcastle in November. Aidan O’Brien’s Newmarket maiden winner may be the one to side with reunited with winning partner Ryan Moore today and gets the vote. Ayr Harbour and Naval Commander look up against it but both are guaranteed prize money.
