Verdict
The performance of Starwatch will tell us our strong this six furlong maiden is but after vastly improving from first run to second TATAWOR and Singingintherain are preferred with the vote lying with the former. Jim Boyles three-year-old was well beaten in a pretty decent Ascot maiden on debut before placing when at a more realistic level over the minimum at Lingfield. This step up in trip is not an obvious positive but this looks his easiest race yet and with further progression should score. Siningintherain also improved from his course and distance debut to run a better race at Lingfield last time and the suggestion is that he wouldn¿t have to show a great deal more now back down in distance. Starwatch has earned a rating of 59 in eight starts so is nothing special but his run when fourth behind Al Khimiya last time has some strength to it although this sharper test might not be the way to go. Mint Whip has been solid at best in two starts but from a powerful yard need respecting especially if the market speaks in his favour but Tatawor looks an improver and should progress again.
