In depth

Verdict

Casting Couch created the impression that she would be suited by a step up in trip on her debut and she is fancied to put the experience to good use here: Black Nun and Nashimah are interesting newcomers that should be noted in the betting, while Lady Cottingham has already been tried at this trip and could easily post a much better effort now that she knows more about what is required from her. However, Casting Couch is the most interesting contender on show and, considering that Barry Hills has a 20% strike rate with his runners at Kempton this season; this may well be another profitable round trip to Middlesex for the Lambourn-based maestro.
