Border Edge, Bowled Out and Lalina are the three to consider here with Border Edge getting the nod. Border Edge has been in terrific form, finishing either first or second in five of his last eight starts. His run at Newbury two outings ago, where he finished second, is working out well, and his win over a shorter trip at Brighton underlined his versatility. A winner at Lingfield in January, he has shown he can handle an all weather surface and is fairly treated, running off only a pound higher mark than when scoring at Brighton. Although without a win since September, Bowled Out indicated a return to the winners' enclosure was imminent when going down by just a head at Wolverhampton last time. Lalina represents Jane Chapple-Hyam and has been running consistently. Receiving weight from her rivals she must be considered but the vote goes to Border Edge.
