Verdict

The unbeaten Monaadah is burdened with a double penalty while stablemate Smart Start concedes weight to the younger horses. Novice winner Audience was beaten in a conditions race at Newmarket last time though is still preferred to course and distance winner Puffing but MOUNT ATHOS makes most appeal. The latter separated a couple of subsequent winners when runner-up at Doncaster on his debut and James Tate’s colt gets the nod on that form.
