On paper, this is a match between Grimes Faith and Compton Classic with Ask Jenny seemingly booked for third. There's little to choose between the principals but Compton Classic may prevail. The selection failed to figure in a handicap last time but is a force to be reckoned with in this company and his last three victories have all come in this grade, including one at this track. It's that track form which earns him the vote ahead of Grimes Faith who has made the frame just once in four starts here, albeit in significantly better company. Ask Jenny got through late on to win a classified stakes over course and distance last time but she has a mountain to climb on the figures and Compton Classic can make his class count.
