Verdict
Top weights have won the last three which bodes well for the chances of GOLD FUTURES (NAP). A winner over hurdles here in the past, he's been contesting decent handicaps over a variety of trips recently and is worth a try over this longer distance having won over 3m at Bangor in July. Harry The Viking went close on a number of occasions last season without managing to get his head in front. He's twice finished second over this course and distance so shouldn't be far away again if fully wound-up. William Money won over a shorter trip here in February and was successful over 3m4f at Haydock later so warrants respect and Straidnahanna did well in the early part of last season. But the handicapper appear to have got to Chicago Outfit and Valleyofmilan is hard to predict. Ballyben is still 4lb higher than when winning a lesser race over track and trip in May.
