Verdict
There are four previous winners in this and it will be a surprise if one of them isn’t good enough to score again under a penalty. WOOSTER came good at Cartmel when beating subsequent Hexham scorer Raashdy by nine lengths. The latter was making his debut over timber that day but it’s still difficult to see him reversing the placings, though he holds Gennady on the form book. Bangor winner Carry On is making only slow progress but Clearance has won twice on the Flat since taking a Stratford seller and may have found 2m2f too far at Musselburgh last time. Winning pointer Lucky Flight was beaten a long way on his debut under Rules in a bumper.
