Neil Alexander trained the last winner of this in 2017 and runs two today though neither arrive in great form. Fly Rory Fly is preferred to Left Back of the two having slid down the weights but has yet to win over fences and finished behind ORIONINVERNESS when the latter was runner-up at Newcastle in December. Lucinda Russell’s charge has subsequently run well again at Ayr and this looks an easier task. The lightly-raced Expresstime was still beaten a distance despite finishing second at Newcastle last time while Charlie Snow Angel was also placed at the latter track before refusing to race.
