A poor finale, with a massive field, and something of a pin-sticker's delight, but we'll side with the Jonjo/McCoy combo OLD BRIGADE ahead of Thirtythreeblack and Great Grimsby. Old Brigade may prefer a little cut in the ground, and that could play into the hands of Thirtythreeblack. Great Grimsby is proven on firm ground, and it could turn into a battle royal between the trio late on. Old Brigade ran a decent race last time out following a few months lay-off; that pipe opener may be the perfect preparation for this. Great Grimsby is the consistent sort, regularly placed over hurdles he's yet to win though. Thirtythreeblack looked to have suffered the "bounce factor" when third last time out, but a month off the track will have done him the world of good. There could be some each-way value to be had with such a big field; King Rocky's showed some improvement and could be a decent price with four places up for grabs, but to win it we'll side with Old Brigade.
