A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Zahra's Place, Peaceful Means and Mabel and the nomination is given to Zaha's Place. The selection was a fair second behind Whiteoak last time out that form looks solid in the context of this race and she need only run up to that mark to win this with a little in hand. Peaceful Means rates the main danger on her latest third behind Sir Harry Ormesher but she would be much better off with the selection if this were a handicap and she is taken on with this in mind Mabel was a fair fourth behind Nodforms Paula last time out and again has definite place claims but her overall profiler leaves her with a little to find. Persian Khanoom has been placed at up to 12 furlongs on the flat but will need to improve for the switch to hurdles if she is to score. Of the remainder Chip N Pin is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she is hard to win with and her best form is on very soft ground so for the winner we are happy to return to Zahra's Place.
