There appears to be more set to come from Myson, who is set to go up 3lb on Saturday, and he is selected over Yorke Rite and Borehill Joker, who are respected but have a few questions to answer on balance. So too does The Staggery Boy, who ran his best race for a while last time out but is far from certain to repeat the effort in this stiffer company. Yorke Rite has often threatened to deliver at this sort of level and can pose a few problems if his jumping holds together. However, he is no speedball and, as he is yet to win a race over fences, it is a little risky to just assume that he is capable of breaking new ground at the age of nine. Borehill Joker has some fair form at this sort of level to his name and appeals as the best alternative to the selection. However, he took a hefty clout when he was brought down at Hereford earlier in the week and it remains to be seen how that has effected him. Therefore, Myson looks the safer option today and he is confidently expected to make a good fist of it today.
