Azertyuiop (FR) Makes his eagerly awaited British debut. Formerly trained in France by Guillaume Macaire who rated him highly. Conceding upwards of 6 pounds to the field, this is a good test for him.
Open Ground (IRE) Three times a winner this season, his form is solid rather than spectacular but he could prove a reasonable benchmark to the value of this form. Tried in first time blinkers today, he acts on soft/heavy.
Storm Prince (IRE) Twice a winner earlier in the season (acts on soft), he has had a break since both he and Open Ground finished well behind Jair du Cochet at Chepstow on Dec 27. On form, there is probably not much between these two.
Going Global (IRE) Looked useful on the flat early last season, finishing placed in the Gr3 Thresher Classic Trial and Gr3 Lingfield Derby Trial. Suited by give in the ground and, if back to even near his best, would be a very interesting recruit to hurdling.
Night Sight (USA) Pulled hard and was well behind Open Ground on his debut run at Doncaster 12 days ago. Consistent maiden on the flat for Geoff Wragg, stayed 9f and acted on firm and good to soft.
Pompeii (IRE) A 16,000 gns purchase, his debut second to El Zito at Folkestone in December reads quite well, although he will need to improve on it to feature here. Acts on soft and stayed 12f on the flat when with Paul Cole.
