Verdict
The so-far unbeaten PLATO’S KODE is not going to find this easy under a double penalty but James Bowen’s 7lb claim is a massive plus and Seamus Durack’s novice has run well on the all-weather since scoring at Worcester in August. Thounder is an interesting rival as he wasn’t beaten far in a minor contest in France back in April, though may need a while to settle into new surroundings. Plumpton fourth Jumping Jack needs more but First Up, placed over 1m2f on the Flat in July, is worth a market check and Casaclare was second over 1m4f at Chepstow in August.
