Verdict

HEPIJEU showed a welcome return to form on his first start for new connections at Uttoxeter. Despite a penalty, he’s still thrown in on his best form and should take all the beating here if lasting home. Mamoo won over a longer trip at Newton Abbot in July but didn’t fare as well on a return visit. Frankie Rapper disappointed here in May after winning at Worcester but still has time on his side. Our Reward led for a long way over a longer trip at Sedgefield reverting to hurdles but it’s a while since he got his head in front where it matters.
