Verdict

Mason Hindmarsh was giving 7lb to Fantasy King when beaten six lengths at Cartmel. The pair meet on level terms today and Karen McLintock's charge may well take his revenge. Gold Futures was given a very confident ride to pick off the front-running Volcanic over 2m4f here earlier this month. He looks to have a future over fences, though the drop in trip might not have done him any favour. VODKA WELLS (NAP) has a pedigree which suggests he should make a chaser and he's run his best race around here over hurdles. With Jamie Bargary's claim a plus, Micky Hammond's five-year-old can make a winning start over the larger obstacles.
