Donald McCain has a good record in this sphere and we will side with BALLYBART to make a winning debut, while Tiger Moss and Stick Together are cited as dangers. Ballybart had a couple of pointing runs before McCain clearly saw something he liked at the Doncaster May sales and put up ¿54,000 for the purchase of this Luso gelding. His dam was a dual bumper winner who acted with cut in the ground and he is likely to be plenty straight enough so we'll side with him. Tiger Moss has not been seen out for 18 months after finishing runner-up in a fast-ground Towcester bumper. She too is related to winners and she should appreciate this stiff track, though she may be better over further and on faster ground in time. Stick Together represents an in-form yard and went well on debut last year, so fitness should not be an issue after a break here. She handles cut well and is also nicely-related, so a good performance is anticipated. Bygones Of Brid has frame claims after a good debut run over course and distance and is not opposed lightly and Pete has conditions to suit, but he may not be up to seeing off Ballybart.
