In depth

Verdict

ABBEY DORE can land this dismal affair at the chief expense of Glimmer Of Light and Mixsterthetrixster. A winner at Plumpton over much further, his forte is his ability to stay in gluepot conditions and with the likely rainfall, those could well obtain. This is such a poor race that despite his obvious shortcomings, he could prove good enough. Glimmer Of Light has ability though seldom wins. That said, some of his better form has obtained at this time of the season in the past. Mixsterthetrixster is very much into the pipe and slippers stage of his career though has been given a chance by the handicapper. Wishes Or Watches still managed to pick up a Folkestone contest despite his young rider dropping the reins at a vital stage. Ajzal won a maiden hurdle for these connections before a modest chasing career. Based on those ratings, he could be incredibly well treated and in such a bad race, any market confidence could prove to be of substantial interest. There could be a couple of potentially well treated sorts in what is a dire finale and in the absence of market information, we side with Abbey Dore.
