    Verdict

As is normally the case with these events, the market will prove invaluable but a fool and his money are easily parted so punters beware in this so-called 'lucky last'. Regal Angel has the best form on offer and gets the nod to win again although newcomer Chan Bahlum is one for the shortlist. Jean-Rene Auvray's filly was a decisive winner on her racecourse debut over course and distance and with similar ground conditions today, she looks sure to run another big race. Kevin Tobin retains the ride and he gets the nod. Nigel Twiston-Davies has an interesting newcomer in Chan Bahlum, a well-bred son of Accordian. Watch the market for signs of encouragement. There is plenty of point-to-point form to get to grips with regarding Milesian King, Orion De Sienne and Skyler, however none of it jumps out as anything special, in fact most of the point form would be more use on a scrabble board. Cresswell Poppy probably has the best form there, however Regal Angel should be hard to beat and get the nod.
