Roseneath made very good progress last season but has suffered in the weights and his winning form came on ground with plenty of give. NORTH ISLAND won a handicap at Market Rasen in July and though well beaten since he's been competing at a much higher level and is only 1lb higher so gets the nod to gain his fourth chasing success. Western Whisky stays well but prefers much softer conditions so the main threat may come from Justabout, who is only 3lb higher than when scoring at Exeter a month ago. It's a very long time since Total Victory showed signs of form and he's been dropped in the weights accordingly.
