Jameson was surprisingly beaten on his hurdling debut at Ffos Las and Nicky Henderson immediately reaches for the headgear. He’ll need to settle better to stay this longer trip and this is no easy task with three previous winners among the opposition. KEEPER HILL beat a Henderson representative on the bridle at Bangor and looks a progressive sort. He can follow up here ahead of October’s course and distance winner Forecast, who appeared to appreciate the step up to 3m last time at Taunton, and Westendorf, though Jonjo O’Neill’s Leicester winner was close up when falling at Ffos Las in November in a race in which the selection finished second. Bally Gilbert had no chance in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham and should fare better here but An Siltean may need more time.
