    Verdict

It could pay to take a chance on TRIP THE LIGHT who is taken to get the better of Bajan Parkes and Hada Men. The selection is keeping his form well and he has run with plenty of credit on each of his three runs since scoring here back in early August. He does tend to go well at this track and in a race where plenty can be given a chance, he looks the percentage call. Bajan Parkes is another who has gone well here in the past but he has yet to show his best over this sort of trip and on that basis he is taken on. Hada Men did not appear to see out the trip at York last time when he was well beaten over 2m, but he had previously been in good form and the drop back to 1m6f could see him a better light. Ascendant would have claims on his run two starts ago but he disappointed last time on his handicap debut at Kempton when he looked one-paced and he has a few questions to answer. Trip The Light is running consistently well and he gets the vote to resume winning ways.
