Verdict
JEWEL MAKER responded positively to the step-up in trip last time but now reverts to a mile. However, he looked in prime form at Carlisle eight days ago and can handle a 4lb penalty and follow up. He also seemed to relish the quicker ground on that occasion. Frog And Toad has disappointed the last twice and it's fair to say the jury is out, but he retains shortlist inclusion as his overall profile gives him every chance - and he's dropped a couple of pounds in the ratings too. Lilikoi only has the one success to date but continues to rack up prize money at this level and should give a prominent account off a fair mark. Rose Fandango won nicely last time but is hard to assess as only one of her 14 career starts has been on Turf, whilst the remaining trio are not without a squeak in an open contest.
