    Verdict

A three-year-old won this six times in a row between 2012 and 2017 but older fillies have held sway since. Quick Change has won twice over course and distance and went close tackling Listed company for the first time at Deauville last month. HEREDIA hasn’t had much luck the last twice but an earlier second to Azure Blue at Newmarket is solid form and she won over this longer trip in a big field at Royal Ascot last year. York runner-up Mukaddamah needs further but both her and Crystal Caprice had no luck in-running in the Kensington Palace at Royal Ascot when Don't Tell Claire and Tarrabb were second and third respectively. Of the classic generation, Breege has found only one too good in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot and Group 3 Oak Tree at Goodwood this summer so has obvious claims. Stenton Glider has placed in Group 2, Group 3 and Listed company this year and appears to hold Bridestones and Crystallium on Sandown running.
