    Verdict

Speculative Bid is a smart performer on his day but hasn't had much racing since 2015 and his last run was on the all-weather at Deauville in December. Mijack enjoys some cut in the ground as he showed at Newmarket in April and connections will be hoping for more rain which would greatly increase his chances. Salateen makes a quick reappearance after a brave attempt to make all in a lucrative handicap at Chelmsford on Saturday and won here in July. SO BELOVED hasn't won since May 2016 when successful in a course and distance Listed contest. His last six runs have been at Group level, including two places, so he can take advantage of the big drop in class.
