Verdict
Many in decent form but THREE YORKSHIREMAN (NAP) is most interesting as he arrives after landing a maiden in facile fashion earlier in the week. This rates a far tougher assignment but he cantered home at Nottingham and looks attractively treated despite his mandatory 6lb penalty. He looks the sort to improve considerably in the latter months of the season and is preferred to Derry Lad, who seeks a three-timer. The Coleman gelding was last seen winning at Pontefract in late-June and is taken very seriously with conditions to suit for a yard which does really well on their UK raids. Recent scorer, Auld Toon Loon, the ultra-consistent Bringbackmemories and Wind Your Neck In, a good second at Sandown latest, can all have a sound case made for them in an open race.
