A bumper entry for this long-established handicap with many arriving in good form. Glencadam Glory finished second in the Ebor when ahead of both Euchen Glen and Stargazer. Dark Jedi steps up in trip again having just been touched off over 1m4f at York last month but nobody would begrudge RAJINSKY a third career victory. Second three times in a row, he won in heavy going at Windsor last year and has also been successful on good to soft so today’s ground will hold no fears for Tom Dascombe’s tough stayer, though it is a worry that he is still creeping up the weights. Diocletian hasn’t fired this year but Rhythmic Intent has won at York and Newbury and wasn’t stopping last time going beyond 1m4f for the first time. Future Investment quickened past a good yardstick at Chester and Cape Coast beat a decent field over this trip at Newmarket but Australis’ form on Turf has yet to match his all-weather record.
