Najeebon has solid claims at the weights but would probably prefer a faster surface and preference is for Persian Rock, who gets the vote ahead of Turn On The Style. Has been performing with great consistency this term, including under similar ground conditions, but has gone up in the weights as a result and makes less appeal than the selection. Pomfret Lad has slipped down the weights of late but has not won for some time and, along with Vanadium, would probably prefer faster ground. Johnston's Diamond faces no easy task at the weights and of more interest may be the Michael Jarvis-trained Pinchbeck, although he is not the most consistent of performers. The vote then goes to Rod Millman's Persian Rock, who had form on the soft last year as a two-year-old and looks to be coming to himself now after three starts.
