Thompsons Walls stands out on ratings but could be flattered to have attained a rating of 82 and a safer option could well be the Kevin Ryan trained Wiseman's Diamond who has predominantly been raced on artificial surfaces. Last seen contesting a Southwell handicap over a trip that would have seemed too sharp, the step back up to 8f and the easier ground conditions will be in his favour. Thompsons Walls was an impressive winner of a Newcastle maiden last summer in a good time but has subsequently been very disappointing. Of the remainder Mujahope stands out but he has been disappointing on the all-weather this year. Wiseman's Diamond gets the vote to land the seller.
