Verdict
LADY ECLAIR won impressively at Ffos Las and is hard to oppose as a result; Northside Prince and Planetarium are amongst those that may give her most to do. Mark Johnston's filly isn't well in under a 6lb penalty but there was plenty to like about the way she went about her work at Ffos Las when readily accounting for a fair field having been eased down in the closing stages. Prior to that, she had run inexplicably badly at Yarmouth but should take all the beating here as long as there's no repeat of that performance. Safebreaker is hard to fancy following two poor performances whilst Madamlily still has to prove her stamina for this test and so the biggest challenges may be posed by Northside Prince who ran well in defeat at Southwell behind a Sir Mark Prescott hotpot and Planetarium who ran a blinder behind Tillietudlem (who has won again since) at Musselburgh and may have escaped lightly with just a 3lb rise. He should go well as a result but the cream can rise to the top and Lady Eclair should take the beating.
