An ultra competitive event in which Forever Changes is selected with Mac Dalia and Planet Paradise put up as alternatives. The selection seems to have a solid draw this evening and has caught the eye in two recent outings at Lingfield Park. On that evidence, a drop down to five furlongs should not cause too many problems and we take her to represent value against more fashionable rivals. Mac Dalia would have been our selection if given a better draw. Although better known in claimers and sellers, she is relatively consistent in handicap company. The booking of Francis Norton on Planet Paradise appears significant. The filly is yet to break her maiden but there are fewer stronger jockeys at todays weight than the Liverpudlian. Maahe ran a creditable reappearance at Catterick and is watched closely in the market. Stoneacre Pat was reluctant to race last time out and while he has obvious ability, he is not a viable option for us until we see him start off on terms. Regal Veil barely stays five furlongs and looks sure to dispute a frenetic early pace with fellow front-runner, Maggie Kate. A low grade but fascinating affair in which Forever Changes gets the nod.
