Araca made a very encouraging start over a mile at the Curragh where she stayed on nicely while Detailed led for a long way over slightly further at Clonmel and gave supporters of the long odds-on Aurora Butterfly a fright. Grey Willow makes a quick reappearance after a fair debut at Killarney last week but LOVEMENOT was only three lengths behind Naughty Or Nice over the track and trip last month and the winner landed a Listed contest on Saturday. The runner-up has also won subsequently so the form looks strong enough for this. Modern Approach was regarded as unfortunate not to have been handed a maiden at Limerick by the stewards as he was bumped by the winner, Homesman, at a crucial stage. He will make a bold bid to gain compensation though this is a tougher than average maiden with Ruby Quest likely to improve, Spring Garden better for an encouraging debut at the Curragh and the returning Switch In Time still holding an Irish 1000 Guineas entry.
