Neither of Dermot Weld's pair, Kalisma and Massayan, have achieved a rating so have to carry big weights. Pat Smullen rides the latter and he can prove the pick after his battling success on soft ground at Galway. My Direction completed a double last month though both victories were over 1m4f on good going. Roibeard easily landed a three-runner affair at Fairyhouse but was well beaten when long odds-on for a Navan claimer and will need to do much better than that. Highly Toxic has raced in much better company without showing much while Nearly Famous had only the reluctant Crème De La to see off here last month. VOCAL EXPERIENCE has only had four starts and has run well enough in the last two over a mile to suggest he's on a nice enough mark to gain his first success. Moonmeister ran his best race for a long time when a close third behind Barsanti at York though that was over 1m4f.
