Make A Challenge made all for a comfortable victory at Fairyhouse but was unable to repeat the process from 6lb higher back there on Friday though he was only caught close home. TONY THE GENT had given notice of an imminent victory when a very good fourth in a big field at the Curragh and was well supported here next time. He duly obliged and though that was over a mile on fast going he's only 4lb higher and can complete a double. Fit For Function carried a big weight to victory over the course and distance but couldn't quite overcome a 5lb rise at Listowel and is 1lb higher. Wentwood won over 1m2f at Cork before well beaten when sent to the USA for a Grade 3 though that was on very fast going. Ice Cold In Alex was in excellent form throughout last summer though all of his races were on fast going.
