A huge field and plenty have been going well but there's sure to be a lot of interest in the hurdling debut of DIGEANTA. Willie Mullins' charge was well supported to make a winning start in a Cork bumper in July and, after being ridden confidently, he won with something to spare. He could turn out to be useful over timber and gets the nod over Spot Fine, who hasn't been able to get his head in front but has been running well enough to merit consideration. Minella For Value is on the upgrade despite his defeat at Listowel where the very heavy ground and 3m trip was just too much for him. Today's conditions should prove more to his liking while Easy Mate showed definite signs of progress when runner-up to Defence Of Duress over the C&D last month. Plato and Birzali are others with chances in what could prove an informative contest.
