Another very hard one to call, but the hat-trick seeking Haripur can go well at a big price ahead of Finished Article, Baldour, Unicorn Reward and True Night to name but a few. The latter, successful 12 months ago is only two pounds higher here and has been threatening to win another big handicap, although his come from behind tactics will always leave his supporters' hearts in their mouths. His trainer Dandy Nichols also runs Sawwaah and Border Artist, neither of who should be left out of calculations. Finished Article is a course and distance scorer who appears to have been laid out for this, while Parisien Star also has form over the track and trip. Baldour was struck into when winning at Brighton but has been readied for Goodwood and races over his optimum trip. All those mentioned have claims along with some we haven't, but Haripur gets an each-way vote. At first glance he has it to do, but his two Lingfield successes have been gained in aggressive fashion, he goes on the ground and is lightly weighted. It is not hard to see him cracking out to make all and he might just hang on for a place at least.
