Verdict

The vote here goes to Davidia, with Benbrook and Osolomio suggested as his biggest dangers. Davidia keeps knocking at the door on both the all-weather and Turf and can't be ruled out in first-time blinkers if they produce even a little effect. Benbrook finished late on the scene at Bath last time, suggesting that he is running into form, so he cannot be ruled out. Croft also showed some sparkle last time but that came in a first-time visor, which is left off today. Mull Of Dubai has shown ability of late and steps up in trip, while Osolomio also improved last time, his handicap debut, and he looks a key player today. Finally, Bella Fiorella showed improvement in a claimer last time and might go well but the others are hard to build strong cases for but, as ever, watch the betting. Our selection, though, is Davidia.
