A poor sprint handicap by the standards of this track and Milton Bradley's MYTHICAL BLUE is likely to go off favourite for a seventh successive race, and he can justify the tag, while Mamlakati and Silky Way are among those considered. The selection has won two claimers, a handicap and last time out a seller during that run of six races at the head of the market, so at this sort of level he is tough to beat. The minimum trip and fast ground are ideal and despite a low draw he looks the most likely winner. Mamlakati also landed a seller on his most recent start, and the assessor has dropped him 6lbs for today's contest as a result of that. Fast ground suits and we expect to see him bang there. Patrick Chamings had a winner on Wednesday and that will fuel confidence in the chance of Silky Way, who won a similar contest here in May. She has thrown in a couple of ordinary efforts since then, but she has been dropped 4lbs now and could go close. Raimond Ridge has thus far proved impossible to win with on turf and stablemate Mazzola is better over 6f. Night Affair has possibilities if able to put a dismal effort at Sandown behind her, but we'll take Mythical Blue to score.
