Cape showed progressive form last season and James Fanshawe's filly has to be respected on her reappearance but a 5lb rise for her latest success and this faster ground may not be to her advantage and preference is for the similarly lightly raced Utmost Respect, with Viking Spirit rated the pick of the remainder. The selection followed up his Haydock maiden success with a smooth victory on his handicap debut at Ayr when last seen in September. A 9lb rise since then looks perfectly fair and today's faster ground should not inconvenience Richard Fahey's gelding who looks worth siding with again. Paul Cole's Bentong is probably better than he showed on his return at Newmarket, while Green Park has improved with each start this season and would have place claims at least if improving again. Texas Gold is not certain to appreciate the return to six furlongs and of more interest may be Walter Swinburn's consistent Viking Spirit. Utmost Respect is completely unexposed though and is taken to continue winning ways.
