Nonrunner
The key runner here is Rahiyah, for if Jeremy Noseda's filly runs up to her ability then she should win at this level and we will take her to do so, with Caldra probably the big danger and both Tobosa and Dubai's Touch capable of going close. The selection has to put behind her a poor effort last time in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, but a repeat of either of her runs prior to that, when third in the French 1,000 Guineas and runner up in last year's Rockfel, should be good enough. It was probably the ground that scuppered her chances last time and we will just add a note of caution in case it gets softer than good again here. Caldra has not been seen since winning the Group 3 Autumn Stakes at Ascot in October, so has fitness to prove. Sylvester Kirk's gelding has done nothing but improve and beat today's rival Tobosa half a length at Newmarket in September. Tobosa has also since improved so it should again be tight between that pair, while Dubai's Touch has won a couple of Listed races, one over this trip, but penalties now make his chance much more difficult and the hope is that Rahiyah can bounce back to form and take this.
