Ordnance Row is narrowly preferred to Third Set and King Of Argos. Ordnance Row is the ideal sort for this race. He appears to act on trip and ground, represents an in-form stable and is highly progressive. Having shown ability on this surface in the past and with Richard Hannon likely to have had this engagement in mind for some time, we see no reason to drop our alligiances here. Third Set is unquestionably well in on the handicap. He dotted up over seven in the International at Ascot from an unfavourable draw and if that race hasn't left too much of a mark, he comes here with solid claims. King Of Argos has never quite achieved all that he promised. The step back up to a mile and a fast pace might bring about the desired effect. Pinpoint should have progressed for a few pipeopeners while My Paris can be expected to try and win things the hard way. River Tiber scored on debut for Luca Cumani while Montpellier has questions to answer after disappointing in big handicaps. Vortex can be expected to run a decent race at big odds while Mine ran too lamentably to be true on his latest start. Supaseus ticks the boxes in terms of progressing while previous winner, Unshakable, has it to do from a low figure draw. Ordnance Row looks potentially listed class and can take this prize en route to better things.
